The Mercado Pago Antifraude Plus is an add-on for Mercado Pago Cards that optimizes security validation and maintains high approval rates, adding more security by identifying the device ID of buyers and preventing fraud and chargebacks.

The app uses 3DS 2.0 (3-D Secure) technology to authenticate credit card transactions before completing the payment, verifying whether the person making the purchase is actually the cardholder or has access to the cardholder's accounts. To install Mercado Pago Antifraude Plus, follow the steps below.

1. Go to the Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus app page in the "Marketplace," and click on Install. If you haven’t already, log in with your Shopify account.

2. Carefully read the information about the requested permissions and click on Install again.

3. After the installation, click on Manage account to access the Mercado Pago environment and start the process of linking your store to your account to enable payments.

4. Once inside the Mercado Pago environment, click on Start linking to begin the process.

5. If you are already logged into your Mercado Pago account, skip this step. Otherwise, enter your email and password to log in to your account.

6. Choose which Mercado Pago account you want to link to the store.

7. Click on Link account and accept the requested permissions. These permissions are essential for Mercado Pago to securely and seamlessly process payments from your store.

8. The process will run automatically and might take a few seconds.

9. Click on the Verify activation option for Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus.

10. To activate the application, click on Go to themes in Shopify.

11. Finally, click on Save to complete the installation.

Mercado Pago Antifraud Plus has been successfully installed.
